Big Data Engineer in Sharjah, UAE

You will be working with batch and real-time technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Spark streaming, Kafka, Cloud computing, and storage.

Experience in:

• Proficient in languages such as Java, Scala, or Python with 2+ years of experience working with big data technologies like Spark and/or Kafka. 
• Understanding/Working knowledge of distributed processing tools such as Hadoop/Map Reduce, containerization (Docker), and supporting technologies and Relational Databases and Real-time streaming technologies like Kafka streaming/Spark Streaming/Flink
• Orchestration and build tools such as Airflow, SBT, Maven, and AWS data services and technologies (EC2, S3, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Data Pipeline, DynamoDB) 
• Capable of designing and documenting solutions independently, doing Code reviews, and ensuring the standard and quality assurance activities are completed on time.
• Exposure handling to massive quantities of data, deep knowledge in data mining, data modelling, data processing, machine learning, natural language processing or information retrieval, and Strong knowledge of and experience with statistics; potentially other advanced math as well as good working knowledge of SQL ability
