Content Marketing & SEO Specialist Internship in Vancouver, Canada

This internship is for those applicants with a keen interest in our fast-growing and innovative mobile app development agency. 

Your Responsibilities:

• You’ll be part of our team in creating fully functional and marketable digital products by progressively and vertically integrating all the components of a mobile product lifecycle. 

• You’ll be guided in learning all phases of digital marketing and competition analysis, concept creation, product conception, technical architecture, development, testing, application promotion, and maintenance. 

• You’ll have to successfully write and publish SEO-friendly content pieces throughout the internship (3 pieces per week) and fully deploy, implement, and promote our App of the Year program. To keep our social media channels live and responsive 

• You’ll oversee our blog and content in general. We'll require you to write 3 content pieces per week, of around 1500 words each. Two of the 3 content pieces are going to be blog posts, and your senior content manager will assign the third content.

• You'll also be training on basic SEO so you can make sure that all our content pieces are optimized. Keep up with our content schedules and keep track of the data reports so you're always up to date! 

• You’ll write, edit, and proofread blog posts with other content formats and optimize blog posts and other content according to SEO best practices 

• You’ll Maintain and manage our blog by keeping a constant flow of scheduled posts and distributing content on social media and other distribution channels 

• You'll be responsible for our social media channels - which means posting content, and company announcements, interacting with followers, and coordinating design pieces if/when needed with our design team 

• You’ll be part of a team to Increase our traffic significantly by creating relevant, well-optimized blog posts and other creative content to increase our brand awareness and our SEO rankings 

Requirements:

You will need fluent English and a diploma/degree in IT/ marketing. Be able to work autonomously or as part of a team, and you'll be well guided and trained, but the whole fun is in taking ownership of your projects and practicing making decisions! 

This internship will lead to full-time employment with salary reviews and bonus. 

Must have passed the IELTS exam with a minimum overall score of 6.5, or above.

Will be required to work 30h - 40h per week.
