Driller labourers New South Wales, Queensland | Australia

Responsibilities:

 • Listen and work closely with Drillers to provide clean and safe working space at all times

• Must be strong able to lift 25kg when required, and hard working

• Operate a variety of drills and related equipment in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner under supervision.

• Ensure all machinery is safe, and appropriately document and reported any faults or potential hazards at all times.

• Strict: safety procedures in all tasks and interactions, including pre-start-up, start-up, and shutdown checks.

• Follow standard operating procedures and monitor all equipment and gauges for irregularities.

• Take appropriate corrective action to prevent any negative impact on others and report non-compliance in any form.

• Keep all working space, machinery, and tools clean and tidy.

• Previous: experience working in mines, quarries, or other heavy industry environments.

• Familiarity and previous experience working near earth moving equipment.

• Be a team player with good communication skills.

Valid driver’s license 

• First aid and other relevant certifications would be an asset.

• A strong attitude towards safety is an essential requirement for a good work ethic.

Possible: recurring employment contract, dependent on your performance. English must be spoken, with proven previous work experience.

Onsite: free accommodation - nearby with all meals. Work wear and safety gear are also provided. 

Consistently demonstrate and promote safety while working and on-site.

These jobs require you to work in very remote, very Hot/Dusty environments and far from the main cities. Sometimes, you'll be in camps with other employees isolated from the world in remote places.
