Job Description
Leading fish farmer is recruiting for several Fish Farm Laborers to work with their Marine Operative team. Fish farm laborers who have experience working within the marine industry, although support & training will be provided for those without experience, and those with an interest in building a career within the aquaculture & fish industry will also be considered.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding and reporting
• Sampling, weighing, and grading of fish
• Disease and Parasite control
• Site maintenance including net changing, etc.
• Boat handling
• cleaning duties of equipment and work areas.
Be a strong team player, working with a small team, and must have a good standard of fitness, the ability to work weekend Rota and flexible hours as workload dictates
• The farm laborers will work on a permanent contract, Monday to Friday (40hours per week), with weekend work on a Rota basis.
Because of the location will stay onsite, (Free accommodation).
This position is for a minimum of 1 year with the ability to extend the contract.
