Responsibilities:

 Duties will include: shovelling dirt/rubble in the workspace, managing tail pulleys, scaling, loading and unloading miscellaneous supplies and equipment, piling materials, adding and reclaiming hardware, hanging cables, installing line brattice for ventilation, setting up extensible belts, and other duties as and when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an industrial environment would be an asset

• Positive safety behaviour and be a safety leader with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability: to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors to work in harmony together.

• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training

• Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place

• Need to have a safety-first mind-set, and be able to collaborate as team players.

• Be strong and fit able to lift heavy weights to at least 25KG

 • A driving license would be an asset but not mandatory.

Possible: recurring employment contract, dependent on your performance. English must be spoken, with proven previous work experience.

Onsite: free accommodation - nearby with all meals. Work wear and safety gear are also provided.

These jobs require you to work in very remote, very Hot/Dusty environments and far from the main cities. Sometimes, you'll be in camps with other employees isolated from the world in remote places.
