Job Description
An exciting opportunity to work as a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair apprentice as part of a highly-skilled workforce that is committed to quality. For the right person, this is an opportunity to secure full-time employment and a great future and progress to a higher level of expertise.
You will be working alongside qualified technicians who will teach you all aspects of the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles. The apprenticeship will provide all the training you require to become fully qualified.
The day-to-day tasks include:
Observing and assisting senior technicians with hands-on learning from simple tasks to attending training courses
Following health and safety guidelines for servicing vehicles and the workplace
Servicing all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
To keep the workplace tidy and clean and return tools and machinery to their correct place
English speaking is a must, be hard working and have an interest in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles
Living quarters provided and transport to and from work
