Highways Maintenance Apprentice in Dubai, UAE

You will learn to:  

 Carry out maintenance and repairs on the highways to keep roads safe and traffic flowing.

• Learn how to locate underground services, for example, gas and power cables, and work safely around them   

• Install, maintain, and work within temporary traffic management using traffic lights, stop-and-go signs, cones, and barriers   

• Carry out repairs on all road types, laying of new or replacement surfaces to specification   

• Will be working with a wide range of hand and power tools and learn how to repair potholes, cut, replace, and reinstate pavements, and lay new road surfaces using a variety of products ensuring roads and pathways are of high standards for vehicles and pedestrians   

• Must apply yourself to the role, regardless of academic capability, and work outdoors and in all weather conditions A good team player and able to understand, and speak Basic English to take on instructions   

• Punctuality, an understanding of safety in the workplace, and willingness to adhere to rules and regulations

School or college leaver, someone outside of work, or looking for a career change. Age restrictions apply- must be between 20-30 years of age Shared living quarters with salary reviews with plenty of work, 6-7 days a week with weekends off every 2 weeks .
