Hospital Catering Staff in Rome, Vicenza, Venice, Florence

Job Responsibilities:

• Make high-quality food and baked items according to a pre-planned menu

• Make a daily record that demonstrates the quality of meals served to patients

• Make sure food storage is done in a clean and safe way 

• Serve food mealtimes, as policies of the department, procedures 

• Care and use of kitchen equipment, particularly knives 

• A timely preparation of drinks and food items and Include garnishments to ensure the customer's satisfaction and appeal to the eye 

• Help coordinate and assist with major clean-up of freezers, refrigerators, and serving and cooking equipment 

• Follow the food safety regulations regarding the sanitation of your food, how you handle it, and storage 

• Follow the uniform policy 

• Get in touch with the manager every day to ensure that you understand and can accurately plan your menu for the day 

• Control the food temperature requirements 

• Keep your workspace clean and well organized within storage and work areas 

• Polish and scrub counters, wash and disinfect steam tables and other equipment 

• Use established procedures and guidelines for cleanliness to ensure an environment that is safe and balanced and perform tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and washing 

• Make sure you keep the garbage collection area and the kitchen floor clean and tidy 

• Do other tasks as per the task assigned and include other areas of the kitchen 

• This job may involve physical demands, such as but not limited to lifting and stretching, pulling, pushing, and prolonged walking and standing. The job may also require uniforms or personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Meals are provided in working times. 8-10hr shifts daily, Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed. Hospitals at reduced costs offer accommodation.

Qualification-skills
