Hospital/Cleaner/Service Staff in Brussels / Antwerp / Burges, Belgium

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains the dishes, pots, pans, trays, work areas, kitchens, tools, and equipment in a clean and a clean condition

• Scrapes Food, rinses it off from dirty dishes, cleans them with a hand, or places them on racks or conveyors for dishwashing machines based on the specific equipment. 

 Maintain a clean and tidy environment.

• Polishes silver with a burnishing machine tumbler, dip chemical buffing wheel, and hand cloth according to the equipment used and processes. 

• Must ensure that all surfaces are clean and safe.

Inspects compliance with the safety guidelines.

• Maintains temperature and chemical levels following the standards provided.

• Keeps the dish areas tidy and in line with the safety guidelines.

• Mops and sweeps flooring in kitchens to ensure they comply with sanitation and safety standards.

• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.

• Takes garbage out and puts it in containers that are designated. Steam is used to clean or hose off the garbage bins.

• Transfers equipment and supplies between the work area and storage.

• Aids in loading and unloading products and supplies.

• Performs other tasks as assigned

During working hours, meals are free, as are uniforms, and laundry services are provided with training in safety procedures in hospitals.
