Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and charismatic, Front Receptionist to work in a reputable Hotel in Kuwait to accommodate guests by performing any combination of the duties mentioned below.

  • Be able to carry out a smooth and efficient checkout to encourage return guests and inform guests of the facilities within the hotel. 
  • Should understand the reservation departments as well as the activities of the concierge.
  • Co-ordinates with housekeeping, and management in maintaining hotel standards to a level required.
  • Accompany VIP and special guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities.
  • To be up to date on specific daily functions and events, and to deal efficiently with guest inquiries.
  • Be proficient in promoting the Food and Beverage outlets to increase internal revenue and provide guests with details on local information and activities as required.
  • To assign housekeeping management and staff the Company policies, procedures, and standards as laid out by the hotel.
  • Attention to detail, good telephone etiquette, Fair knowledge of managing files/records, Team player. 

 

Skills needed:

Excellent written and spoken English with Arabic speaking an advantage with 2- 3 years of work experience as a receptionist in a reputed hotel.

Be presentable with good personal hygiene, honest, trustworthy, and sound work ethics.

Must have a High School Graduate from an accredited university preferred with computer-intermediate skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
