Job Description
We have a permanent employment opportunity for a housekeeping manager to join our highly motivated housekeeping management team.
The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Monitor, control, and inspect the daily housekeeping operations focusing on the delivery of the required services according to the process’s procedures, and standards of the Group.
Control and budget all housekeeping supplies expenses and develop the shift schedules accordingly.
Must ensure that all guest requests/complaints are always handled promptly and professionally with the highest degree of guest care quality and discretion.
Liaise closely with the Front Office Desk regarding the vacant and occupied rooms requested for cleaning and plan the housekeeping activities to prepare accordingly for the guests.
Coordinates with the Engineering and Food & Beverage operations to support them in the delivery of their tasks by performing all the required cleaning and housekeeping of the required area, e.g. rooms, F&B outlets, public areas, etc.
Monitors and controls the inventory of the housekeeping supplies proceeding to the procurement of the required material to ensure the availability of supplies.
Qualifications:
- To be considered for this role, I a gained a High School Diploma or College Degree in a relevant field or possess 4 to 6 years of experience in a relevant field within the hospitality industry with experience in managing a team of housekeeping staff.
- Should have a high level of knowledge of housekeeping processes, and procedures, and an equivalent level of customer service orientation.
- Be able to resolve guest complaints/issues calmly and professionally and have very good knowledge of the health & safety regulations and standards.
- Will need a very good command of speaking, reading, writing English language and computer literacy with good MS Office skills.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment
- Excellent salary with pay increase depending on performance with annual leave.
