Indian Chief / Cook Full Time in Reykjavik, Iceland

Responsibility:

·      Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanour while providing restaurant and hotel guests personalized service.

·      Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.

·      Inventory of food items and report on supplies to be ordered.

·      Control inventory for loss, waste, and spoilage.

·      Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils, keeping the kitchen spotless to Company standards and all health codes.

·      Adhere to food safety requirements.

·      Monitor the cleanliness of the back loading dock and trash area.

·      Assist other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant, and hotel.

·      Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Team Player who works well as a member of a group, capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well and devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity.

1-2 years: Experience working in hotels or restaurants.

1-2 years: Professional Indian/Asian cooking experience

Licenses, Certifications, and previous work experience Documents required.
