Oil Field Laborers in Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, and Labrador

Responsibilities:

To change sections of pipes or drill stems at the rig floor during drilling and during removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems, and drill bits

• Working with experienced oil riggers as laborers to help/support their daily operations.

• Drive vernicles to transport materials and oil well service equipment.

• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

• Keep all machinery, vehicles, tools, and all workspace tidy.

• Always maintain all health and safety guidelines on-site and at the campsite.

• Mix, pour, and spread materials; load, unload, and transport construction materials.

• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, cleaning, and piling salvaged materials.

• Willing to regularly travel long/short distances to and from base camp.

• Work in a fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads with repetitive tasks.

• Be ready for physically demanding hard work with attention to detail.

• Work will be a combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, and kneeling with excellent Hand-eye coordination for safety.

Work Term:1year with extension to the employment contract, all dependent on work performance. Accommodation and food are provided daily in the canteen. 

All work gear, work laundry, and work clothes are also provided.

Hours of work: 40 to 60 hours per week. English must be spoken, and be a team player with an Education of at least Secondary (high) school graduation.

Consistently demonstrate and promote safety while working and on-site.

The employment process requires pre-employment testing, a background check, drug testing, and a virtual Face – Face interview. Applicants must pass all steps of the application process to qualify for employment.

These jobs require you to work in remote, cold environments far from the main cities. Sometimes, you'll be in camps with other employees isolated from the world in remote places.

Industrial/Construction Experience of 2 years and current driver's license, Minimum Secondary School Diploma, be technically competent, hardworking, and willing to learn with checkable work references.
