Pool Lifeguard / Gym Attendant in Dubai, UAE

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all guests are aware of Health-safety regulations, and activities available at the pool and gym  

• Ensure that proper testing of the pool and gym equipment is in good working order on a daily before the guests use these facilities

• Ensure all Guests are registered at the hotel before using the pool/gym and make sure the swimming pool/gym is clean and constantly monitors swimming pool activity. 

• Ensure the sun loungers are clean, umbrellas are in working shape and, in the correct position and proper working condition. 

• Ensure the safety of all seating areas and fixtures are always in the correct place

• Ensure appropriate rescue techniques if swimmers require assistance and • Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid. 

• Ensure guests are not using any kind of glassware or prohibited items near the pool area. 

• Ensure swimming lessons and training are provided when requested by the guest. 

• Assisting in the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool area.

• Ensure reporting of accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the management

• Ensure the upkeep of complete safety training and certifications as required by the management 

• Ensure the organizing and re-stocking of supplies, such as towels, and drinking water, and efficiently answering guest requests. 

• Ensure the greeting and interaction with guests as they enter and exit the pool/gym facilities

The ideal candidate should have a friendly, outgoing personality, general knowledge, and an interest in health and fitness.  

Good English with excellent communication and verbal skills. 

Must have at least 1 year experience in recreation, physical fitness facility, or customer service industry. 

Full-time positions with shared room accommodation/food and holiday leave every 2 years.

Qualification-skills
