Road Construction workers in Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, and Labrador

Responsibilities:

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

• Have a valid driver's license for transportation to and from the site as needed.

• Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour.

• Willing and able to work long hours in cold/wet/snowy/harsh weather.

• Must be a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious team player.

Required Duties:

• Help fellow workers with their duties at the Crushing Plant or around the Quarry.

• Ensure the work site is organized and free of clutter and rubble.

• Shovel and rake aggregate materials.

• Operate small equipment and tools. (Training will be provided as necessary)

• Operate loader and rock truck, as required.

• miscellaneous activities throughout the day, as directed.

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

• Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour.

• must always understand/follow health and safety rules.

• Must be a team member and work in harmony with other staff.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 6 AM-6 PM, with overtime as needed. Full safety work uniforms provided with accommodation and meals. 

Successful candidates must be willing to travel daily to and from the site.

Experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset.

Familiar with construction methods, tools, and materials is an asset.

1-year full-time renewable contract on your ability to work hard within the company. Accommodation meals and safety work wear are provided on all job sites. Previous conduction experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.

Consistently demonstrate and promote safety while working and on-site.

The employment process requires pre-employment testing, a background check, drug testing, and a virtual Face – Face interview. Applicants must pass all steps of the application process to qualify for employment.

These jobs require you to work in remote, cold environments far from the main cities. Sometimes, you'll be in camps with other employees isolated from the world in remote places.
